Colossally successful and hopelessly addicted to gambling: Guido Reni, the star painter of the Baroque, captured divinity on canvas and still captivates us with his eccentric personality today.
CLUB DIVINE, the exhibition party at the Städel Museum on 4 February, will celebrate Reni and his art with a night of godly glamour and intoxicating extravagance. Young art experts will provide suspenseful insights into the exhibition “GUIDO RENI. The Divine”—open till after midnight—and museum education specialists will discuss the artist’s colourful life and work in art battles. Then Frankfurt DJ Richard Oberscheven will sweep us away into his world of electronic beats before TERR from Berlin’s Berghain regales us with danceable ecstasy.
